Our work here at Ailsa house is focused on the individual needs of our residents. Whether they are staying with us for the short or long term, our staff will do everything they can to ensure that our residents are afforded the dignity and respect they deserve.

  • Residential Care – Ailsa House offers a warm and friendly environment that feels like home. Although our building is full adapted to be accessible, it is still full of character and does not feel like a clinical setting. We can cater for a variety of different health conditions including, but not limited to, Diabetes, Stroke, Parkinson’s, Mental Health conditions, Dementia care and Palliative/End of Life care.

  • Respite and Step Down Care – Sometimes a primary carer requires a break for various reasons including holidays, illness or other, and we can offer a safe and warm environment for your loved ones during this time. We also offer a place for those discharged from hospital who aren’t ready to go home just yet.

If a carer needs to take a break for whatever reason, we are on hand to provide respite care. We ensure that your loved ones receive the same standards of care as our permanent residents, and ensure they feel at home. Many of our respite residents have gone away thanking us for a wonderful holiday! We also offer Step-Down care for those who are discharged from hospital but still require a little extra support before going home.
